Humble Beginnings
In 1992, two New York street vendors embarked on a personal mission to produce high quality bath body products, utilizing natural ingredients and traditional African recipes. Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of these lifelong friends who grew frustrated with the inferior quality, high chemical content and exorbitant prices of products manufactured for people of African descent. More than ten years later, most of their products are no longer made in bath tubs or kitchen sinks, but the Nubian Heritage philosophy remains the same; produce the best products imaginable for our people, our family.

For generations, Lemongrass, with its strong and sweet lemony aroma, has been used in the purification rituals, as well as, to promote psychic awareness. Steam-distilled lemongrass has a strong history of medicinal use in the West Indies, Africa and South America. Tea Tree oil's remarkable anti-bacterial and healing properties, long used to alleviate skin problems, are a perfect complement to the powerful anti-inflammatory properties of Lemongrass.
Nubian Heritage uses Madagascan Lemongrass oil and Aboriginal Tea Tree oil in a moisturizing Shea Butter Soap to help clear oily troubled skin. This refreshing deodorant soap, with its mild anti-septic and rich moisturizing properties, treats and tones skin. In addition to their topical healing properties, these exotic essential oils are also revered for their outstanding aromatherapy values.
Natural ingredients...with the exception of a few words that I can't pronounce. When selecting things that I consume or apply on my body I check for harmful chemicals like Parabens and DMDM.
Honestly, this stick was wiggidty wack! It wouldn't melt...I didn't enjoy the shea butter stick at all!
